This Week's Selection: Light by Michael Grant
Release Date: April 2, 2013
Publisher: Katherine Teagen Books
From Goodreads:
It's been over a year since all the adults disappeared. Gone.
In the time since everyperson over the age of fourteen disap-peared from the town of Perdido Beach, California, countless battles have been fought: battles against hunger and lies and plague, and epic battles of good against evil. And now, the gaiaphage has been reborn as Diana's malicious mutant daughter, Gaia. Gaia is endlessly hungry for destruction. She yearns to conquer her Nemesis, Little Pete, and then bend the entire world to her warped will. As long-standing enemies become allies, secrets are revealed and unexpected sacrifices are made. Will their attempts to save themselves and one another matter in the end, or will the kids of Perdido Beach perish in this final power struggle?
Light, the sixth and final book in the New York Times bestselling Gone series by Michael Grant, creates a masterful, arresting conclusion to life in the FAYZ.

Current Giveaways:

I haven't read GONE, or the other Michael Grant books! Should I? The books don't really appeal to me, in terms of the synopsis. I think I'll let you read them and tell us :D
ReplyDeleteHere is my WoW post!
Hmm... I might have to reread the entire series again if I want to review them, but I'm already halfway through (finished 2 or 3 books in the series already before I started blogging, lol). I'll be sure to leave my thoughts on the rest of the series... if I find the time to read them. :3
DeleteThanks for stopping by! :)
I should really start to read this series. It's at my school, but its always out.
ReplyDeleteAww, half the time that happens to me as well at school.
DeleteI pretty much abandoned it after I read the 2nd or 3rd book. It's a bad habit of mine that I need to fix soon (I doubt that I would but... I probably should during the summer).
Thanks for stopping by! :)

ReplyDelete:) Great choice - the teens are loving this series at my library right now.
